Payments Redesign
With a vision of creating a simple, seamless payments experience my team at Commbank and I were faced with the challenge of uplifting the existing design to align with platform modernisation and introduce additional functionality that services core customer needs.
Visually, the payments platform was dated and non-responsive. It was also designed independently to it’s app counter part, so along with a redesign, our responsive web and native app teams worked closely together to ensure align experiences.
Project roles and responsibilities
Review/conduct exploratory research tasks with project team to understand key customer journeys, tasks and problem spaces
Development and participation in a design sprint to establish current state feature mapping, vision, prioritisation and develop early concepts
Experience and Concept testing alongside UX and Research –Development of hypothesis, test plans and result synthesis.
Strategic development of ‘blue sky’ concepts to help inform product vision and establish north star for payments experiences
Application of high fidelity UI – Responsive web, alignment with native mobile experiences, accessibility, scaleable pattern usage and development handover
Review of customer feedback and quantitive data to iterate on designs
